CANKER Leiria, 1997.Nasce Canker Bit Jesus, que agora responde apenas por Canker.Colectivo que se deu a conhecer primeiramente com o EP “Techo Vibrations”, depois com as maquetes de edição simultânea “Prozac" e “Diabolik" em 1999, e finalmente com a então homónima “Canker Bit Jesus", em 2003. Os Canker são actualmente formados por Icecream (bateria), Spined (guitarra), Marciano (voz) e Gomes (baixo) que substituiu um dos fundadores, Phantas. A banda prepara-se para lançar em Abril de 2008 em edição de autor, o álbum de estreia: “INTERACTIVIST". “Loko Loko Man”, “Dancing with the DBDs”, “Regeneration” e “Error is the Man” são os temas de avanço que deixam antever um disco enérgico, cheio de riffs poderosos, a rondar energicamente o rock mais pesado, duro, e o metal mais alternativo, puro. The band starts by showing its work with “Techno Vibrations” EP, followed in 1999 by the simultaneously released demos “Prozac” and “Diabolik”, and later by the homonym demo “Canker Bit Jesus” in 2003. Presently, Canker are Icecream (drums), Spined (guitars), Marciano (vocals) and Gomes (bass), who has recently replaced one of the founding members, Phantas.
